Close to the Suffolk and Norfolk borders this year we will be bringing our Treasure Hunt northwards to the lovely market town of Beccles situated on the River Waveney.
We will start our day at Blyburgate Hall with coffee and biscuits. After a short introduction teams will then set off on the hunt from the hall and try to find the clues around and about the historic town of Beccles. Lunch will be served back at the hall and you will have a choice of a Cheese or Ham Ploughman’s (please state your choice on the application form) followed by some delicious home-made cakes. After lunch the answers will be revealed before you wend your way home through our delightful Suffolk Countryside.
Enter as a team of four or if you enter as an individual, we’ll find a team for you. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather on the day and don’t forget to bring your sun cream with you too. (We are hoping for a lovely sunny day!) Also, if you have a clipboard please bring that along and obviously a pen as well!
In the past few years we have held Treasure Hunts in Westleton, Framlingham, Needham Market and last year at the Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket. So this year come and join us at Beccles for an interesting day out.
