Come along to the Education Centre at Carlton Marshes and meet up with our guides from the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. After a short presentation about the nature reserve and plans to buy more land, there will be a two hour guided walk where we may have the chance to see wildfowl, barn owl, marsh harrier and maybe even some of our more exotic visitors like spoonbill or glossy ibis. The fen raft spider has been successfully reintroduced to the area and there may be a chance to sight one in its habitat – only for those without the urge to run away! We will finish the evening with coffee and cake.
Please wear suitable footwear and clothing and bring binoculars if you have them.
