A celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s sixty years on the throne combined with a nostalgic look back at those days.
Members were transported back to 1952 and reminded what life was like at the time Princess Elizabeth became Queen and ascended to the throne. Some members dressed in fashions of the period, we took a trip down memory lane with a 50’s style Tea Party and artefacts of the time, including kitchen items, knitting patterns and children’s toys
