I have sent the following out to those who have said they would still like to travel in December and I have nearly enough to be viable.
Longleat House itself won’t be open, however, the Festival of Light which is an outdoor extravaganza is still on.
Restricting the passenger numbers to a maximum of 24 and following all the latest guidelines to keep everyone safe, I have come up with the following potential itinerary:
Wednesday 9th December – leave Suffolk to travel to our hotel, The Delta Marriott Cheltenham Chase with a little stop in Stow on the Wold.
Thursday – into Gloucester for the morning, then if I can get it arranged, a winery tour and tasting at Woodchester Valley.
Friday and we’ll be off to see the animals at the famous safari park, staying until after dark so we can walk through the festival of lights.
Saturday 12th and we’ll be making our way home to Suffolk with a stop in Bourton on the Water.
Hopefully we will be able to soak up some Christmas Spirit despite everything.
I will be asking everyone who travels with us to take extra care with distancing for two weeks before we go, I will be checking temperatures, sanitizing everything in sight, keeping to bubbles of no more than six and anything else I need to do to keep you all safe, while enjoying the trip.
If we suffer a complete lockdown which means we can’t go at all, full refunds will be made.
Price includes coach travel from Suffolk, three nights dinner, bed and breakfast and entries.
