Zoom talk with Pamela Holmes

Featured pamela holmes

Sadly our literary tea party is now online via Zoom – and you will have to provide your own tea! Our special guest speaker is Pamela Holmes, author of “The Huntingfield Paintress”.

Many of you, we are sure, will know that this – her first novel – tells the story of 19th century rector’s wife Mildred Holland, responsible for the amazing decorated ceiling in nearby Huntingfield Church, and many of you may well have actually read the book. It will be fascinating to hear what Pamela has to tell us about this extraordinary woman and how she achieved such a striking display.

This is not Pamela’s only book. Her latest, ”Wyld Dreamers”, is a tale of how the things we do when young can come back to haunt us in later years and she is also an award-winning short story writer. She comes as a highly recommended speaker.
