For those who don’t know, needlefelting (or dry felting) is a method of shaping wool fibre using a barbed and very sharp needle. It is a great stress reliever, especially if you have someone in mind whilst you are stabbing!
A workshop is planned to make a needlefelt Santa, complete with long white curly whiskers, taught by a very talented young lady called Sarah Brown. Some of you might have taken part in a zoom workshop with Sarah last October, which was huge fun and very popular. I am advertising this early to ensure Sarah has a good supply of white curly wool, as demand is high for materials at this time of year, so do apply asap.
This is a morning session, and we can take a maximum of 10 students. However, should we receive more applications, then Sarah is happy to run a second workshop in the afternoon. All materials will be provided, with enough wool to make a second Santa at home should you so wish. This is a great way to start easing yourself into the Christmas spirit, and I guarantee it will be an enjoyable few hours, with some of you wanting more!
