Autumn Literary Lunch Monday

The old saying is that everyone has a book in them – but how many actually manage to get those books out of their heads and onto the published page? Come along to our literary lunch and meet two local authors, Liz Trenow and Jenni Keer who have both managed it not once but multiple times!
Following a long career as a newspaper and broadcast journalist, since turning 60 Liz Trenow has had nine bestselling historical fiction novels published all over the world, thus proving it’s never too late to start. Liz will tell us about her journey from journalism to novelist and her writing process and getting published.
After a soup and desserts lunch we will then hear from Jenni Keer. Jenni lives in Stoke Ash with her husband and four sons, and says she writes women’s fiction to combat the testosterone-fuelled atmosphere at home. Despite being a history graduate, Jenni’s books (two published so far) are set in the modern day. She will tell us about her publishing journey and share with us the difficulties that authors face.
Please book early as tickets are limited and we anticipate many members will be interested to hear Liz and Jenni’s insights.
