This meeting is all about YOUR LOCKDOWN MAKES.
Bring along an item (or a photo) – or two – of something you’ve made in any of the lockdowns, then tell us a little bit about it/them.
Was it a new craft you tried? A new recipe? Or was it an old favourite that cheered you up? Was is perhaps something in the garden?
What’s the story behind it? Maybe it was a gift you made, maybe it was an old hobby you hadn’t indulged in for years.
Anything goes, really! Bring us your makes and show them off! It might just be the inspiration someone else is looking for.
We’ll also be hearing from Felicity Borwick, textile artist (though also one of our members!) about her lockdown-inspired, bra-decorating, textile-art project “Covid Get It Off Your Chest”. More details on the project can be found here.
The Zoom link will be sent to members and visitors (who register in advance) before the meeting.
If you know anyone who’d like to visit us, please ask them to get in touch via email (see our SEFWI web page) or leave a message on our Facebook page, and we’ll get back to you.
