Last October, Di Howard stepped down from SEFWI SALES after five years on the job. We are hugely grateful to her for such devotion to duty. A well-earned rest follows for you now Di! Dilys Sewell and Lynda Leesmith, both newly appointed members to the Board of Trustees, have taken on the task of SEFWI Sales. The ladies joined the Board in March and feel this will be a good way for them to get to know you all – and vice versa!
The ladies are currently working on plans to provide all WI groups with details of the main items of stock available, together with prices. This will hopefully be both in paper form and on the SEFWI website. In addition, a list of dates and venues where sales can be accessed will be made available. Members will also be provided with details of how to request a sales table for either their own WI or for group events.
Although the changes may be small at first, plans are being developed to make stock items more readily available to you all. In the future, Dilys and Lynda may also seek members’ views on the type of items they would like to see in stock.
For the Centenary Celebrations in 2019, SEFWI Sales will be advertising some very special products which they know you will find exciting and totally irresistible! These items will be a lasting keepsake for a very special year in the history of our Suffolk East Federation. The new 2019 Calendar is available to order now and details will follow as normal. This calendar differs from the usual format and features stunning artwork created especially for the Centenary by some of our hugely talented members.
All members will be kept informed of progress being made by the new SEFWI Sales team. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions please contact Dilys or Lynda via the office. They will consider all communications and get back to you if necessary. This is your Federation and your SEFWI Sales so any input from members is invaluable!
