A windmill is the logo of our Federation. As part of our Centenary Celebrations we are inviting every WI to join in and make a 3D windmill. The windmill can be any size but should be suitable to be displayed and viewed from the road, either in a window, garden, or perhaps your village hall?
The Windmill Trail will be held between 1st June— 30th September (inclusive)
An entry form will be enclosed with the November posting. Please complete with relevant contact details, the location of the windmill including the post code/GPS. Forms should be returned to the SEFWI Office no later than 8th February 2019.
Each windmill will be given a code, and every WI will receive a map, locations and a passport enabling them to find the windmills on the trail and record their codes. We hope you have fun visiting other areas of the Federation, collecting codes and meeting other WI members. There will be a prize for the most visited windmills which will be presented at the Autumn Council meeting in 2019
