Make sure you’ve nothing else in your diary on Tuesday 4th March other than the Federation Annual Meeting, once again at Trinity Park, Ipswich. Our afternoon guest speaker is Ali Norman, the first female crew member for the RNLI Aldebugh. Ali has been with the RNLI for 30 years and will regale us with tales of her challenges on and off the water.
The morning session will be the usual mix of WI business and guest speakers including Jago Cooper coming back to tell us more about his fascinating work, as well as news and information from our own sub-committees.
Country Markets and the Fairtrade Foundation will be offering you their goods and in our exhibition area we will have a selection of organisations to give information to members on a one to one basis. There will also be the raffle and the meeting is an ideal opportunity to renew your 200 Club membership.
Everything is on the flat, there are plenty of toilets and emergency exits are everywhere! All are advised to bring a packed lunch, but coffee, tea and light snacks will be available to purchase on the day.
Delegates have a free ticket, but all other seats will be £10.00. Order tickets through your secretary. Ticket allocation will be 17th January, after which any remaining tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis.
