Two different workshops were on offer recently. In one participants looked at elements of drawing a landscape and created an individual piece of work which they then transferred onto lino for cutting and then printed from this. The other was a workshop in crewel embroidery. The participants used two-ply worsted yarn to work a traditional style pattern on heavy linen twill using outlining and adding surface and filling stitches.
