Rushmere Evening WI, founded in 1964, is not one of the oldest or newest WIs but we believe we combine the best elements of both, a traditional WI but with a modern outlook. We are a friendly group of all ages, from all walks of life. As well as our monthly meetings we usually have a social evening planned for the third Thursday. In addition to the monthly meetings, we have sub-groups where our members with shared interests meet.
