Somersham WI is a recently formed WI in the east of Ipswich. We have our meetings on the third Monday of the month and try to make sure all our our speakers throughout the year fit our motto of ‘create, learn, inspire’. This means we quite often have local speakers who aren’t on the ‘speaker circuit’ in Suffolk and we get a mix of speakers and activities. We have a huge age range in our members, and guests and new members are always welcome to join us. We like to join in with local events and fundraising, and have members from our surrounding villages and Ipswich.
